Wizkid Becomes First Nigerian Artiste To Win Billboard Music Awards [Check Out Full List Of Winners]

Nigerian Afro pop singer, Ayo Balogun, better known as Wizkid clinched three awards at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards held on Sunday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Wizkid received seven nominations in this year’s event, to be the first Nigerian to achieve such a feat. The ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner won three from the nominations.
He won in the “Top Hot 100 song”, “Top R&B song” and “Top R&B Collaboration”.
Drake was the biggest winner at the 2017 Awards.
The rapper took home 13 awards, making him the artist with the most in a single year, beating Adele’s record of 12.
